Chinese New Year!

The Art Department has been busy creating work in the spirit of the Chinese New Year!
Stop by and see the incredible fortune cookie necklaces made in Jewelry.
Ceramics has looked at the Chinese Zodiac and created conceptual Art pieces based on the year they were born.
Fortune cookies have been made in clay with fortunes on ribbons that contain what students hope to bring into their lives, or that of others.
We are fortunate at Thornton to have students with diverse cultural backgrounds who can share their many traditions and celebrations!
Stop by with an old t-shirt (dark colors only, please!) and a dollar and we will print a bunny shirt for you!
